Roy Gould
Roy Gould was trained in Stage Management at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA.) His Stage Managing career includes the West End Musicals "Billy" at Drury Lane and "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Palace.
Joining the BBC in 1979 as a Floor Manager, Roy worked his way through the ranks until David Croft ("Dad's Army" "Allo Allo") asked him to take over as the Director for his shows.
Since leaving the BBC Roy has worked on many projects as a Producer and in 2003 Developed and Produced the first "Booze Cruise" film (starring Martin Clunes) for ITV which topped the ratings for single drama for that year as well as winning the RTS Award for Best Single Drama. Roy has subsequentently produced two more "Booze Cruise' films and is working on various series for TV as well as developing two Feature Films.
He is currently Directing two comedy pilots for David Croft.
