Brian Ainsworth

Brian has been involved in Post Production for over 25years.
After surviving a year of being a motorcycle courier for a top Animation
Company he became an Ariel Image Camera Assistant compositing
commercials on 35mm film using back projection techniques. Eventually the industry demanded a more ‘instant’ digital approach for its effects work,
Brian was among the first in the UK to operate the then ground breaking Quantel Paintbox while based inside The Framestore.

Over the years Brian has worked on hundreds of Broadcast Commercials, Corporate
Videos, Short Films and Features…. far too many to list but some of his personal favourites include:
working with Hugh Grant on ‘Mickey Blue Eyes’, Michael Palins opening title sequence for ‘Himalayas’
and placing Antoine De Caunes head on numerous semi naked Ladies for Eurotrash… and of course Editing the fantastic
‘Orlas Song’ Short Film, Written and Directed by Eric Deacon and shot on location at Hampton Court Studios!

Six years ago Brian opened his own Post Production Company
based in Soho London which became successful enough to last year invest
over a quarter of a million pounds in state of the art equipment catering for the data hungry 2k, Red and HD market.
