Debal, a professional photographer for the past 2 decades, is showcasing his new collection at the groundbreaking contemporary gallery space at Diesel House Studios that regularly shows the work of London’s next generation of collectables. His work includes the last gig of the jazz great George Melly, contemporary nudes and intertwined with impressive shots of some great women’s sporting moments and will be a great opportunity to do some early Christmas Shopping.

Photographing the likes of Toyah Wilcox, Claudia Winkleman, Jane Couch, Judy Spiers, Fiona Armstrong, Daljit Dhaliwal, amongst others, his unique working style and personal manner has been much sought after,

Debal’s George Melly works represent the last documented gig that he performed, just 3 weeks prior to his death in July 2007. Present at the gig were some of Melly’s contemporaries who realised that this was to be the final flourish of a man that was one of the great musicians who influenced the jazz movement of the 20^th century. This show is a unique opportunity to acquire these black & white limited edition prints, whose enigmatic style invokes an era of the Great Age of Jazz.
